Almost a year ago, I decided to stop watching what I ate, and consciously track everything (via Weight Watchers on-line). I hit my goal in August, and I still follow the plan by tracking what I eat on line (they could also do it with a pad a paper with the same results).  I also make sure that exercise is part of my life- with 30 minutes at least 5 days a week. I have lost and kept off over 45 pounds- in size 8 pants at 128 pounds- by taking control of my food intake- and not letting food control me!

Dear Linda,   

I just wanted to take a moment and thank you from the bottom of my heart, for your guidance in my journey to becoming a healthier, stronger and thinner person. My life has changed in so many ways that I couldn't have even imagined. Instead of looking at my body and wondering, "how the heck did that happen?!" and feeling completely hopeless, I now see my body in a different light.  I look at it and am amazed that I actually have a figure now and can't believe that it's really me! I'm stronger at 40 than I was at 25!  Who knew?!  When I first came to you I was looking for that "quick fix" and you told me straight up, there was no magic potion or pill that would undo the years of being a "junk food junkie."  You also said that, not only did I need to exercise, but I had to eat healthier too (o.k., so I ignored that "eating healthier" piece for awhile). After working with me a few weeks (maybe you knew right from the start), it became clear that my biggest nemesis was something called, "consistency."  Through our conversations during training sessions you gently helped me to see that I had to be consistent with my workouts AND I had to eat healthier.  Once I got that through my thick brain, the results came even faster than I expected!  I can't say enough about my workouts with you!  They are always different and before I know it, the workout is over.  I am challenged to new levels each time and am so surprised by what I can do.  Then your words of encouragement followed by emails really keeps me on track and focused throughout the week. Great newsletters and recipes too!  Thank you again! With your comprehensive approach to fitness, I have lost 16 pounds and am well on my way to fulfill my weight loss goal. I am a stronger, leaner person and now fabulous at 40!!

Hello Linda,

Recently, I have been reflecting on just how great I feel since teaming up with you as my personal trainer and thought that I wanted to tell you in writing.

Since starting personal training with you in March of this year, I feel all around good!  I sleep through the nights quite soundly, now.  My energy is at an all time high like I was 30 something!  I am less stressed and more focused on the important things in life and not sweating the small stuff!  Interestingly enough, I’ve maintained my weight which I am fine with but to my great surprise, I have loss inches without really thinking about it all the time.  I knew I was feeling really good and then discovered my clothes were fitting me just the way I’ve wanted them to.   I’m carved at the places I want to be carved and am loving it!  I have firmness and shape that I am enjoying, immensely.   I am feeling good physically and mentally.

You have been a happy inspiration to me.  Your humor and caring has made working out with you tough at times and always fun.  I’ve learned a lot about me from you.  You seem at times to know me better than I know myself.  I have come to trust your great knowledge and appreciate your passion and love for your professional work.  I and my body look forward to working out with you every week.

You are one of a kind, Linda.  I often tell others now, I’m telling you, my friend!

"I broke my foot a week before Christmas.  I decided to try and keep up some kind of workout routine - mind you - without using my feet!  Linda was recommended to me by a friend.  I called and spoke to her and she reassured me I could get a great upper body and core workout without standing or using my foot.  I started working out with Linda and it was great!  She was right, I got a great upper body and core workout under her supervision.  She was VERY careful with my foot and obeyed all restrictions, but worked around them to get me the best workout possible under the circumstances.  I have been back on "my feet" for the last month and a half and I am still working out with Linda regularly.  She gives you a tough workout, but you feel great after.  I have learned a lot from her.  I look so forward to our sessions together!  She's a GREAT trainer!!!!"
